The Gazebo Spa

In our previous article we took a look at the gazebo hot tub and some of the health benefits which can be obtained by having one in your back yard. In the following article we will take a further look at the gazebo spa in relation to purchasing or building one of your own.
Buying A Gazebo Spa
As you can see, from the above image, a gazebo spa incorporates two, usually separate items, a gazebo and a spa. It is for this reason that I strongly advise you to consider purchasing one from a specialist supplier. Of course it is possible to buy one online with relative ease but you really do need to ensure that you are buying from a reputable dealer with a history in this area. The spa is rather a technical device radically different to the surrounding gazebo and you will want a warranty that covers both but you may also want to pay that little extra for a care and maintenance contract.
Build Your Own Gazebo Spa
A gazebo spa can prove to be rather an expensive item to purchase so many people buy them in kit form. Unfortunately many people make the grave error of attempting something of which they are not really capable. Do not, under any circumstance, attempt to build your kit on your own unless you are confident that you can handle the construction of the gazebo and the spa. There are simply too many areas which can go wrong if you are not experienced in DIY and I strongly advise that you seek professional assistance.
That said a gazebo spa kit is usually supplied with comprehensive instructions which, if followed, should not present you with a problem. The most important thing to keep in mind is where you are going to place it. It is of vital importance that you place it in such a position that draining it will not create a problem. Your spa will, at times, need to be cleaned and drained and it can be an absolute disaster if you end up flooding your yard.
When choosing where to place your gazebo spa you must always keep in mind that it will need access to a power supply. As well as the spa requiring a power source you will also need to ensure that the surrounding area is well lit if you plan to use it at night. It can be incredibly dangerous getting out of a spa onto a slippery surface in poor light. Using a non-slip material around the immediate vicinity of the spa will help greatly but you really do need to ensure that the area is adequately lit too.
