Gazebo Weddings

 

In recent years, outdoor weddings have become increasingly popular, and are continuing to do so. Wedding organizers and planners are constantly searching for novel and exciting places where weddings can be conducted. When couples choose to have an outdoor wedding, they quite often decide upon an exotic location such as a beach on Hawaii, the Caribbean or any other stunning location.

Gazebo Weddings Are Incredibly Popular

Many people love the idea of having a gazebo wedding. Some locations such as large public parks or the larger hotel chains, may already have their own gazebos. However, if the location you choose to have your wedding does not have it's own gazebo, then you can hire a ready-made gazebo especially for the occasion, or construct your own.

Due to the growing popularity of gazebo weddings, a large number of the big hotels have added a gazebo to their lawns and gardens as a permanent fixture. The smaller hotel chains, who do not always have the space for a permanent gazebo, are willing to erect a portable (tailor-made) gazebo for any kind of occasion if that is what the client requires.

Once the location of the gazebo weddings has been chosen, the wedding planner will usually decorate the gazebo. The decorations will blend in with the overall theme of the wedding, and is usually decorated with flowers, garlands and ribbons. Photographer's love the use of gazebos for weddings, not only do they provide a stunning background, but it means that the photographer can take truly stunning photos from all the different angles a gazebo provides.

Gazebos come in a variety of different shapes for you to choose from, such as circular, hexagonal, octagonal or plain rectangular shapes. After choosing the shape, next you have to decide what color you want your gazebo to be, and also which design of panels you want. The only thing left to do then is decide upon a theme, and use that theme throughout. If you do decide to have a themed wedding, wouldn't it be a fantastic idea if all your guests came dressed in the same theme too.

In some gazebo weddings, the gazebo is used for conducting the wedding ceremony itself, and in other wedding it is used purely for visual effect. All of this would really depend on the size of the gazebo itself. If you only have a small gazebo then maybe just the happy couple could stand in the gazebo. If you are lucky enough to have the use of a very large gazebo you may be able to accommodate the guests as well.

Overall, the idea of conducting a wedding in a gazebo appears to be an excellent choice. However, before going ahead with planning the wedding, the happy couple and their parents should make a point of finding out all the pros and cons of gazebo weddings before taking the plunge. This type of wedding need not be very expensive, and in no way would one have to compromise on their perfect wedding. On a beautiful day what could be more romantic and sentimental than a wedding held in a gazebo.
