Whilst spraying your roses take time to check the buds and young leaves for any signs of fungal disease.

If you live in a coastal area, then your roses will be prone to powdery mildew. This problem appears on the leaves, stems and buds of your roses as a pale grey or white powdery substance. The disease usually appears on the younger leaves first, and if left untreated these leaves will curl up and die.
